Our team has spent decades in the OTR tyre trade. We know the sizes, the patterns, the compounds, the manufacturers. We know which tyres run well on which machines, in which conditions, and which don't.

That practical knowledge is what gets us called when a buyer needs a tyre that doesn't appear to exist anywhere, or when a seller has stock that doesn't fit anyone's standard catalogue.

We deal with everything from articulated dump trucks in iron ore, to underground loaders, to graders on a civil job, to ag and forestry. Real machines, real conditions, real outcomes.

We're not aligned to any one brand. We have no quotas to hit, no OEM scorecard to defend, no preferred-product to push past you. That independence is the point.

When you ask us what tyre you should run on a particular machine in a particular pit, we give you the actual answer – not the one our supplier wants us to give. Sometimes it's Bridgestone. Sometimes it's a brand you've never heard of that's the right call for that exact application.

That's the freedom of being an independent. It's also why mine procurement teams, civil contractors, and dealers come back.

ABOUT

Jewell Tyres has been trading off-the-road tyres into Australian mining, earthmoving and civil construction sites since 1975. Probably still a farmer at heart, founder David Jewell built the business on what mattered most then and still matters now: knowing the gear, knowing the people, and being easy to deal with.

Today, Jewell Tyres operates as a functioning commercial system – customers, suppliers, logistics, pricing knowledge, database, brand trust. Not a tyre yard. A trading platform. Independent. National. Practical.

What sizes do you handle? +

Everything from 24" rim and up through to giant 63" OTR. Loader tyres, grader tyres, dump truck tyres, dozer tyres, compactor tyres – bias and radial, new and used. If it goes on something that earns its keep moving dirt, ore, or coal, we deal in it.

Which brands do you stock? +

Every major OTR brand, plus credible mid-tier and emerging brands. Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Yokohama, Continental, BKT, Aeolus, Techking, Triangle, Double Coin, Galaxy, Alliance, Mitas, MRF, Solideal/Camso, Titan, Trelleborg, Firestone, and more. See the full brands list.

Are you a manufacturer or a reseller? +

Neither. We're an independent trader. We don't own a tyre brand and we're not tied to one. That's the point – it means when you ask what tyre to put on a machine, we give you the actual answer rather than the one our supplier wants us to push.

Do you deliver nationally? +

Yes. We move tyres into mine sites, ports, civil jobs and dealer yards across Australia and New Zealand. We have established logistics partners for OTR-scale freight, including remote and FIFO destinations.

Can you take surplus stock off our hands? +

Yes. Surplus, end-of-mine, decommissioned fleet, off-allocation, end-of-line – we can valuate, inspect, and move it. Often we can act as sole-seller on a confidential dispersal. Submit details on the Sell Tyres page and we'll come back to you.

How fast can you turn things around? +

That depends on the size, the brand, the urgency, and where the tyres need to land. We move fast when we can, and we tell you straight when we can't. Generally faster than the OEM-aligned route.
