Privacy policy.

Jewell Tyres collects only the information you actively submit to us – through the buy or sell enquiry forms, through email, through phone conversation, or through documented commercial dealings.

We use that information for: responding to your enquiry, providing services you've engaged us for, contract administration, statutory record-keeping (the ATO requires us to keep certain trading records), and reasonable follow-up commercial communication.

We don't sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties. We don't run advertising tracking on our website. We don't pass commercial enquiry information to manufacturers or competitors.

Basic web analytics (anonymous page views, referrer, country-level location) are collected for the purpose of understanding which content is most used. No personal data is associated with the analytics view.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing tyres@jewelltyres.com.au. We'll respond within 14 days.

Jewell Tyres operates under the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988).

This website is published as a general information resource and as the public face of Jewell Tyres' trading business. Content is accurate to the best of our knowledge at time of publication.

Information on this site is not advice. Tyre selection for a specific application requires engineering review of the actual machine, operating conditions, and current manufacturer specifications. The site's content is reference and context; it is not a substitute for professional advice or qualified inspection.

You may link to, quote from, and share content from this site. Substantial republication of site content requires written permission.

All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Manufacturer names and pattern designations appear on this site for reference only.

/ 04 Conditions of sale

Conditions of sale.

These are the standing conditions under which Jewell Tyres trades. Specific transactions may include additional terms in the quotation or contract.

Pricing and quotation

• Quoted prices are valid for 14 days unless otherwise specified.
• Quotes are exclusive of GST unless explicitly stated as GST-inclusive.
• Pricing is FCA Wodonga unless explicitly stated as delivered.
• Delivered pricing includes freight to the nominated site, exclusive of any site-specific fees (mine gate fees, port handling fees, etc.) unless explicitly stated.

Payment terms

• Standard terms: 14 days from invoice. Account customers with credit terms in place: as per their account terms.
• Title in goods passes on full payment.
• Risk passes on delivery.
• Late payment may attract interest at the RBA cash rate plus 4% per annum on overdue amounts.

Product condition and inspection

• New tyres are sold subject to the manufacturer's warranty.
• Used tyres are sold with documented condition assessment where available. Buyer is responsible for confirming condition matches their requirements.
• Tyres are sold compliant with AS4457 where the standard applies.
• Buyer is responsible for confirming the tyre is suitable for their machine and application. Where we know it isn't suitable, we'll say so before the sale.

Returns and warranty

• New tyre warranty claims are handled directly with the manufacturer. Jewell Tyres will assist with the claim process where requested.
• Used tyre sales are final unless there is material misrepresentation of condition.
• Returns require prior written agreement.

Liability

• Jewell Tyres' liability under any single transaction is limited to the value of that transaction.
• Consequential, indirect, or special damages are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
• Nothing in these terms limits a buyer's non-excludable rights under Australian Consumer Law.

/ 05 Jurisdiction

Jurisdiction.

Contracts entered into with Jewell Tyres Pty Ltd are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts. Where the buyer is a New Zealand entity, the parties may alternatively agree to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts under a specific contract.
